2-AMINO-4-HYDROXYPYRROLO-[2,3-D]PYRIMIDINE - Introduction
7-Deazaguanine, also known as 7-deazaguanine, is an organic compound with a special structure. Its chemical formula is C5H5N5O and its relative molecular mass is 163.13.
In terms of properties, 7-deazaguanine is a white crystalline solid, insoluble in water and soluble in some organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dimethyl formamide (DMF). It is stable under acidic conditions, but decomposes under alkaline conditions.
7-Deazaguanine plays an important role in biology, especially in the construction and modification of nucleic acids. It is a special base that can be used by some bacteria and fungi to replace adenine (adenine) to form different nucleosides (nucleoside) in RNA and DNA. 7-Deazaguanine also has applications in the development of fungal antibiotics and anticancer drugs.
In the preparation method, 7-deazaguanine can be prepared by chemical synthesis. A common method is to synthesize the target product by tandem reaction using the corresponding pyrrole reagent as the starting material.
In terms of safety information, due to the professional application of 7-deazaguanine in the laboratory, the relevant toxicity and safety information has not been fully studied and understood. Therefore, when using or handling, it is necessary to follow the corresponding safety procedures and take necessary personal protective measures, such as wearing gloves and protective glasses. When handling chemicals, direct contact with the skin and inhalation of its dust should be avoided.
